Thanks and Remembrance My mother and I on my wedding day in 2005 Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday filled with love, happiness and peace. We had a great Thanksgiving here and spent it with family and friends. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday though it is bittersweet for me now. 2 years ago, a few days past Thanksgiving, my mother lost her battle with cancer. Today is her anniversary and I am honoring her the best way I can, by giving thanks for the wonderful things that fill my life...and being grateful for the time I did share with her....
